Test sites to earn extra money online
The website testing process is used to evaluate the websites by letting people use them and find mistakes. It’s a tester’s job to test the website/software or apps by checking how user-friendly it is.
This helps companies fix any errors or bugs before launching their websites or apps to the public.
Test sites to earn extra money with UTEST
Get paid testing software, find bugs, and improve the user experience with uTest. Your primary role as a uTester is finding bugs or other issues in a given application so developers know exactly what they need to solve.
When you join the uTest community, you can apply for any project that’s posted on the user platform. If you’re qualified and selected for a project — known as a “test cycle” — you’ll gain access to an application to start testing.
Users are paid per bug that’s found and approved. You’ll always receive a base payment for each of these bugs, but if you find particularly helpful ones — especially those that affect how an app functions altogether — you can receive significant bonuses.
Lastly, you may be asked to perform a usability test instead of a standard test. If this occurs, you’ll be given a survey to complete. This survey will ask you about the overall user interface of whatever app or software you were assigned.
As long as you’re 18 years old with a laptop and smartphone, there’s a good chance you’re qualified to be part of the testing community. Software testers on the platform range from entry-level to professional testers and are located all around the world.
Payments are all processed via PayPal. Testers earn pay ranging from $10-$50 depending on the variety of tasks and their complexity of it.
Once you complete the registration process, you’ll be a fully activated uTester on the platform.
You can start applying to current projects on the uTest Projects page by clicking on the ones you’re interested in, reading the description to see if you qualify, and tapping “Apply” to fill in your information. When you start receiving projects, make sure your feedback is as thoughtful and valuable as possible so you can become a highly-rated tester and stand out.
Earn Extra Money With TestBirds
This is a high-paying usability testing platform where you can test websites and portals, apps, wearables, games, and other apps. You are also paid to find bugs(things that go wrong like crashes, frozen screens, buttons and links that do not work) in applications and websites. Their headquarters are in Munich but they have expanded worldwide.
To become a tester you will have to register as a tester, fill out your basic profile, set up at least one device to test with (mobile/mac) and then complete the entry test. This is an introductory test, which will help you familiarise yourself with the platform and testing standards. Once the ‘Birdmasters’ have approved your report, you will be ready to take part in paid tests. You will also receive a €5 bonus payment for completing the Entry Test.
As a Bird, you receive points for different actions that reflect your experience as a tester. When you are newly “hatched”, you get one-time points for your first steps. By registering your first device, completing tests, finding bugs or taking Bird School quizzes you can increase your points.
To get invited to tests, they use their database to identify and invite a representative group of testers who fit the specific profile requirements of each test.
Here are some of the types of tests you may be asked to participate in:
Bug Test: In this test type, you will be asked to “hunt” for Bugs (technical errors). You are paid for every Bug you find, and payment varies depending on the severity of the Bug.
Usability Test: These kinds of tests aim to evaluate how easy a product is to use. As a tester, you will provide feedback in the form of ratings and texts to help a client improve their product. You receive the fixed payment announced, once your report gets approved. Please note, that you cannot submit Bugs in this kind of test.
BugAbility Test: This test type is a combination of a Bug and Usability test. You will be asked to find Bugs and evaluate the usability of the product. You receive a fixed payment for the test report, and extra payment for every Bug found.
I have done a few tests with them so far and they are the higher paying companies, and their customer service is brilliant, any questions you have just message them in the chatbox and they will help

Test sites to earn extra
This is a product testing site that pays you to share your experiences and make an impact on products and services. I have only done a few tests with them as emails I get are rare. You basically sign up to be a tester and input some personal details so that they can match you to certain activities. In order to maximize your chances of receiving paid study offers, you have to complete your profile first, the more detail the better!
Tasks can either be completed on your mobile, tablet or computer.
There are three types of tasks you can complete:
- $2 tasks – these tasks require you to do a quick test of a website. These can be gambling sites, travel sites or major online stores. Some of them are done by clicking on parts of a website, whilst other tests may ask you to share your thoughts by typing answers to questions.
- $5 card sorting – You will be given a list of words and your task is to sort them into relevant categories. Sometimes, these categories are already provided for you or you choose them yourself.
- $8 think-out-loud tasks – these work similarly to the $2 tasks, except that you are asked to speak out loud about your actions. Although the majority of your work will be spoken, you may be asked to write down some of your answers too.
Once you finish the study, you will have to submit your work for IntelliZoom to review. Once they’ve confirmed your work is good, you will then receive compensation.
Payments are done via PayPal. You won’t need to reach a certain threshold in order to receive the payment. It usually takes 21 business days before it will be credited to your PayPal account.
In order to become a member of the site, you have to be a resident of the US, UK, Spain or Germany.
You also have to be at least 18 in order to become a participant and must speak fluent English or Spanish.
So, you have to be willing to have your face and voice recorded. You also need to make sure you have a webcam and microphone you can use to film your videos.

Do you want to work online and discover new applications in advance? I have overall completed around three tests so far, simply screen shotting some new websites and they ask you questions about whether you think the website is working well or not – normally they pay ok so the jobs are worth doing. I do not get many emails from them but it’s still worth signing up just in case!
